AMERI is not just a name, it is an emotion synonymous with my childhood.
I spent all summers with my family in Jaipur. Through the course of every year, I attended a lot of festivals and weddings.
Since I was a little girl, I have had an eye for the jewellery the ladies used to wear with their magnificent ethnic attires.
Jaipur is famous for their Kundan, Polki and Meenakari work.
All the ladies had such creative jewellery, my passion kept increasing every time I visited Rajasthan. I eventually started noticing the same craze in Delhi.
As I grew up, I realised the worth of those little treasures which I used to be so obsessed about.
Jewellery involves the art of making something so intricate and beautiful, women cherish their belongings and keep them very close to their heart.
It provides women a sense of luxury and gives them a status symbol.
I also realised that just the way women need options & varieties in clothes, why shouldn’t they spoil themselves with jewellery more often?
There are festivals, weddings and social gatherings. I always felt like young ladies should have a huge variety of these possessions matching each outfit.
That’s how I came up with Ameri, a Luxury brand which makes Intricately Handcrafted Ethnic Jewellery, in a plethora of colours and designs, which makes luxury affordable and exquisite at the same time.
